This page says what we do with your details, in plain English. The short version: we use your number to set you up and talk to you, we never sell it, and we never use your callers' numbers for anything except the one text back.
Who we are
TEXTBACK is run by [YOUR TRADING NAME]. If you want to ask anything about your data, email [YOUR CONTACT EMAIL] and you'll get a reply from the person who runs it, not a department.
What we collect when you fill in the form
- Your business name and your mobile number - because you asked us to set you up, and that's how we reach you.
- When you sent it, and which advert or link brought you here - so we know which of our ads are worth running.
That's the lot. No email, no address, no card.
What we collect if you ring the demo number
We see your number and the fact you rang, and we send you one text back so you can watch it work. We don't ring you back, we don't text you again, and we delete demo call records within 30 days.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and runs no trackers. Nothing follows you around the internet after you leave. If that ever changes - for example if we add advertising measurement - we'll ask you first with a proper consent banner and update this page.
Who else sees your details
- Our text-message provider (Twilio), which carries the texts - that's what it's for.
- The company that hosts this website.
Nobody else. Your details are never sold and never passed on for anyone else's marketing.
How long we keep it
If you sign up, your details become part of your account. If you don't, your enquiry is deleted within 6 months. Demo call records go within 30 days.
Your callers' numbers, once you're a customer
When your customer rings you and gets a text back, their number is used for that one reply and for showing you what they said. It is never reused, never added to any marketing list, and STOP replies are always honoured.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [YOUR CONTACT EMAIL] and it'll be done within a month. If you think we've handled your data badly, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
